7:15-8am: Parker wakes for the day (or I wake him up if he oversleeps so he will take a longer afternoon nap).
– Playtime with mommy or while mommy works. Fridays are trash days when we watched the trash truck go up and down the street. Parker loves to play with his cars, trains, and trucks! He also loves to read books.
8:30am: Breakfast — eggs, fruit, turkey sausage, oatmeal, sippy cup with milk
– Playtime while mommy works then get out of the house. Speech therapy Wednesdays at 9:30. Ladera Learners play group Thursdays at 9:30. Other outings: errands (Costco, grocery story, Target, mall) or fun (splash pad, water park, SeaWorld)
10:30am-12pm: Lunch, usually on the go — turkey, cheese, salami sandwiches, raisins, apples, granola bars, granola, bananas, yogurt, steamed carrots (Parker LOVES steamed carrots)
12:30pm: Down for nap. He transitioned to a big boy bed at 19 months so we could use the crib for baby sister! Sometimes he will read books in bed by himself before falling asleep.
– Parker transitioned from 2 to 1 naps around 14-15 months old.
2:30-3:30pm: Wake from nap. Occasionally he will ask for a snack.
– Afternoon play consists of playing with neighbors in the street, keeping cool inside, a walk with mommy, toddler learning games (colors, shapes)
5:15-5:30pm: Dinner — protein, mahi mahi with tartar sauce, veggies, meatballs, cheeseburger
5:30pm: Daddy gets home! One of the best times of day for Parker!
6-6:30pm: Bath or shower with mommy or daddy.
7:00pm: In bed for reading books and night-night time.
Parker’s baby sister arrives in 5 weeks!
